Yuzvendra Chahal who is representing Rajasthan RR in the IPL 2022 revealed a shocking incident that occurred with him in 2013 with the Mumbai Indians MI franchise.
In an interview speaking to Ravichandran Ashwin in a Rajasthan Royals video Chahal revealed. “We had a match in Bengaluru and there was a get-together after that. So there was a player who was very drunk – and I won’t take his name – he was very drunk, he just called me aside, and he took me outside and he hung me out from the balcony”.
“I was holding on to him, with my arms around his neck. If I had lost my grip, we were on the 15th floor… Suddenly many people who were there came and handled the situation. I kind of fainted, and they gave me water. Then I realized how responsible we need to be when we go anywhere. So that was one incident where I made a narrow escape. Had there been a small mistake there, I would have fallen down.”

Another incident that occurred with Yuzvendra Chahal was revealed by Royal Challengers Bangalore Podcast earlier this year.
In the year 2011, Mumbai Indians won the Champions League in Chennai. Andrew Symonds and James Franklin got drunk tied Yuzi’s hands and legs and said you have to open. They were so lost that they taped his mouth and completely forgot during the party. In the morning the room service saw him and untied him and called other players too. Chahal also revealed that he developed a special relationship with Symonds over time and they are close friends now.
