Karachi Kings team led by Babar Azam suffered another loss in PSL losing their 9th match on Sunday which is the highest number of losses in the PSL history.
Karachi became the first team to lose 8 consecutive matches in PSL history with a total of losing 43 matches in the seven editions of PSL .Babar won’t like this unwanted record under his name.
Karachi Kings have just 2 points on the table where they won 1 out of 10 PSL matches. With just 1 win means they were not eligible to qualify for playoffs and were eliminated from the tournament.
Final match was against Quetta Gladiators where skipper Sarfaraz Khan won the toss and elected to bat first setting a target of 167 runs. Kings had a flying start led by Babar Azam and Joe Clark having a partnership of 87 runs. After that team started losing wickets in a quick succession and were unable to captialize further.
Karachi lost the match by 23 runs. England Batsman Jason Roy was the top score of the match scoring 82 runs off 64 balls.
Babar expressed his feelings on Instagram thanking fans for their support and gratitude.
