It’s all about developing Umran Malik’s talent moving forward, according to a former India batter.
Aakash Chopra, a former Indian batter, commented on Umran Malik’s absence on Twitter and implied that the team management had already spoken with the young player since “it’s all about cultivating his skill.”
Umran Malik, a pacer, featured in both India’s three-match T20I series against England and the T20 International (T20I) series against Ireland. The ODI or T20I squads for India’s upcoming series against West Indies do not, however, include him. Aakash Chopra, a former Indian batter, tweeted about the young player’s absence and claimed that the team management must have previously spoken to him because it is “all about cultivating his skill.”
“There is no Umran Malik in either of the two squads. T20i and ODI. He’s already been spoken to, I think because the future will be all about developing his talent “Tweeted Aakash Chopra.
Umran Malik isn’t there in any of the two squads. ODI and T20i. I’m pretty sure that he’s been spoken to already…because it’ll be all about nurturing his talent going forward.

The pacers chosen for the T20I series against the West Indies are Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Avesh Khan, Harshal Patel, and Arshdeep Singh. Hardik Pandya is also included as a pace-bowling all-rounder.
Umran Malik has taken two wickets in the three T20Is he has played so far, and his economy rate is 12.44.
Umran was chosen for India after dazzling the IPL 2022 with his incredible speed.
As he concluded the season with 22 wickets, batsmen struggled to handle his speed.
In his little international cricket experience, he has so far shown himself to be fairly pricey.
Earlier, Aakash Chopra explained why he believes Umran Malik is not yet ready for international cricket.
“Extreme pace is something Umran Malik possesses that others do not. Nobody can learn that from you. Everything else, such as line and length, yorker, bouncer, slower ones, knuckle ball, etc., can be taught. However, you cannot teach someone how to bowl quickly. Either you are a pacer or a medium-pacer from birth, “In a video posted on his Youtube page, Chopra said.
“He has the pace without a doubt. However, I believe that Umran Malik is not yet prepared for play in international cricket. He just needs some time, and that’s it. He hasn’t played much cricket, so he’s still developing “said he.
