Taskin Ahmed doesn’t get BCB NOC to play for LSG

Lucknow Super Giants were looking to sign Taskin Ahmed a Bangladesh fast bowler. The franchise was unable to succeed as Bangladesh Cricket Board has refused to grant the No Objection Certificate to take part in the Indian Premier League.

Mark Wood was ruled out of IPL 2022 due to the injury so LSG required a replacement bowler. The franchise tried their best to rope in Taskin Ahmed as the replacement bowler but BCB wanted Taskin Ahmed to be part of the Bangladesh series.

Bangladesh has two important series against South Africa and home series later against India. This was the major reason for the nod in the NOC.  Taskin understood the whole situation and informed the LSG franchise accordingly.

KL Rahul leading the side for Lucknow Super Giants ( LSG ) will look to capitalize the season on a high note. LSG bought some great potential players at the IPL Mega Auction 2022.

Lucknow Super Giants will be playing their first match against Gujurat Titans on 28th March at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

IPL 2022 is all set to begin on 26th March. The first match to be played between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders ( CSK v/s KKR ).
