Stress free Kohli could be dangerous for opposition: Maxwell

Former RCB captain Virat Kohli would be stress-free player now after quitting the captaincy.

Kohli decided to quit the captaincy after last year IPL, also resigned from T20, ODI and test captaincy.

Glenn Maxwell in a RCB Podcast stated “He know he’s handing the captaincy over, which I think is potentially a big burden for him. It might have been something that he’s been able to release it might be dangerous news for opposition teams”.

Few days earlier Former South African player Faf Du Plessis was named as captain of RCB. His role as a Captain would be vital for the team as he has an experience of leading the South African side.

Maxwell revealed how he enjoy’s playing along side Kohli in the RCB. The Australian all rounder loves the cricket conversations he shares with Kohli and is happy as he has become a close friend.

Kohli and Maxwell the duo share an intense conversation while leading their National sides. The IPL has brought them together which has indeed helped RCB.

IPL will be starting from 26th March 2022 at Wankhede Stadium Mumbai. The first match to be played between CSK and KKR.
