Given this year’s unprecedented mid-season disruption brought on by the first-ever World Cup being staged in the middle of the European football calendar. Ancelotti has said that he may use Real’s three-game US tour as an occasion to experiment with his forward line.
“Benzema is the first choice, but we have to realize that it will be a strange season, with the World Cup in between,” added Ancelotti. “We have to look at alternative options.”
According to Ancelotti, one of those alternatives might be using Eden Hazard as a false nine.
