Punjab Kings PK and Royal Challengers Bangalore RCB had a triller IPL 2022 match at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
RCB coming out to bat set a total of 205 runs with some heroic performances from Captain Faf Du Plessis, Former Captain Virat Kohli, and Dinesh Kartik. Starting off slowly in the powerplay player’s RCB didn’t get many runs on the board.
The partnership between Faf Du Plessis and Virat Kohli turned the table for Royal Challengers Bangalore RCB.Β Faf played a stunning knock of 88 runs in 57 balls smacking 7 sixes in that. Skipper too started the innings slowly later capitalized and scored quickly. Dinesh Kartik played important role in the death overs scoring 32 runs off 14 balls smacking 3 sixes.
Punjab Kings PK came out to bat opener Captain Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan started scoring quickly. PK started losing wickets throughout the match still the scorecard kept moving quickly. Bhanuka Rajapaksa wicket-keeper batsmen scored 43 runs in 22 balls smashing 4 sixes. The magical innings by Odean Smith scoring 25 runs off 8 balls helped Punjab Kings win the match easily in 19 overs.
