The ECB has picked the England Test squad to face New Zealand under new skipper Ben Stokes. James Anderson and Stuart Broad have been returned to England’s Test lineup.

The England and Wales Cricket Board picked a 13-strong squad to face New Zealand. In the opening two matches of a three-match series at home on Wednesday, including veteran seamers James Anderson and Stuart Broad. Anderson and Broad dropped out of England’s team for their 0-1 loss against the West Indies. England’s debut series against New Zealand will be under new Test captain Ben Stokes and coach Brendon McCullum. England has called up Yorkshire batsman Harry Brook and Durham seamer Matthew Potts for the first time.
