Chennai Super Kings franchise is concerned over England all rounder Moeen Ali delay in arrival due to visa issues. He had applied for Visa on February 28 yet.
Moeen Ali is a star performer for the CSK team. His crucial roles as an all rounder in the IPL 2021 helped CSK to gain the IPL 2021 title.
Seeing Moeen’s consistent performance in the IPL he was retained by CSK Franchise at INR 8 crore ahead of the IPL Mega Auction 2022.
Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) is also trying to get Moeen’s Visa as soon as possible.
CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan stated “He had applied for his visa on February 28. It has been more than 20 days since the application was submitted. He has been a frequent traveller to India and yet he has not got the travel papers. We are hoping he will join the team soon. He has told us that he will take the very next flight after getting the papers,”
Even Gujarat Titans staff member is facing similar Visa issues. Abdul Naim a staff member in the Gujarat Titans has been waiting for clearance of his travel documents.
IPL 2022 is all set to begin from 26th March.
