Rishabh pant is India’s Best Ever Wicketkeeper-Batter: Former Indian cricketer
Aakash Chopra, a former opener for India, said Rishabh Pant was the country’s best wicketkeeper-batter.
With his 146-run innings, Rishabh Pant helped India put 416 runs on the board in the current Edgbaston Test match against England. At one point, India’s innings were in trouble at 98/5, but Pant and Jadeja rallied their team with a 222-run partnership. Aakash Chopra, a former opening batsman for India, lauded Pant for his performance and dubbed him India’s greatest-ever wicketkeeper-batter.
“Rishabh Pant, who is still only 24 years old, is India’s all-time top wicket-keeper hitter in “Tests.” It’s incredible how many crucial innings he’s played in Test matches in just 30 games “Tweets from Chopra
Rishabh Pant is India’s best ever wicket-keeper batter in ‘Tests’ …and he’s not even 25 yet. The number of Test match defining innings he’s played in just 30 matches is simply sensational. 👏 👏 #ENGvIND

In addition to scoring 104 runs on Day 2 of the current Test, Jadeja also reached his century mark.
Day 2’s stumps saw England at 84/5, still 332 runs behind the lead, with Jonny Bairstow (12*) and Ben Stokes (0*) at the crease.
After centuries from Rishabh Pant and Jadeja and five wickets for England, India had previously scored 416.
India now leads the five-game series 2-1, and all they need to do is win or draw to claim their first series victory in the UK since 2007.
